The magazine codebase does not currently include a site analytics service or set nonessential analytics or advertising cookies. If those practices change, this notice should be updated before the change is introduced.
Email correspondence
When you email editorial@thesilence.us, the information you choose to send is used to read and respond to your correspondence, evaluate contribution or editorial inquiries, and maintain necessary editorial and administrative records.
Email correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably needed for those editorial, correspondence and record-keeping purposes, then may be deleted when it is no longer needed.
